The Immune System
and
SARS, AIDS, Viruses, Bacteria, Fungus

Any infection, regardless of what you call it, makes its way when there is a deficiency or an imbalance of the immune system. The immune system is mainly composed of the endocrine glands such as the Pituitary, Thyroid, Parathyroid, Thymus, Adrenals, Gonads, and the Pancreas.

The endocrine glands become more active when there is a major disruption in other systems of the body. These other systems include the stomach, liver, gall bladder, kidneys, small and large intestines, spleen, bloodstream, lymphatics, and the nervous system.

There are some viruses, bacteria, and fungus which actually aid the body's ability to function properly. Just like bread mold can be turned into penicillain to fight venereal infections, the body needs good bacteria to function, especially in the intestinal tract. When anti-bacterial products are introduced in the body, the good and the bad bacteria are destroyed and you need to start a new growth of intestinal fluora (mainly good bacteria). Otherwise, you cannot digest your food properly. Another example are mushrooms and cultured cheeses that have good bacteria where digestive enzymes are present when the proteins need to be digested.

Vaccines will work properly only when the body's immune system is in top notch shape. If not, you can come down with the very infection it was supposed to protect you from. If the body's immune system is at peak efficiency, then you won't get the infection anyway. Just because there is a bug out there, it doesn't have to mean you will be affected by it.

OK. Since you know some basics now, it is necessary to understand how the body is a self-healing instrument when the right conditions exist.

Think of an infection as a live protein. We already know when we digest any protein, it is necessary for the body to be at a certain minimum temperature for complete protein assimilation and digestion to take place. Below a certain temperature, the proteins can only hope for incomplete assimilation. Infections are the same way. How many times have we been told that infections get to us during the night? Why? At night, the body temperature is lower! If the body temperature did not get high enough during the day, any existing infections cannot be challenged by the immune system effectively. And how many times did we jump for the aspirin bottle when we get a slight fever.

Aspirin injures the red blood cells by changing the oxyhemoglobin in the blood to methyhemoglobin, thereby destroying the oxygen we need so much. The nerve cell groups that handle oxygen are monopolized and pain cannot be realized as it should. Any fever, or pain is an indication of an imbalance taking place and should be addressed systemically rather than as a symptom to be wiped out. Aspirin also diminishes the fever by partly blocking the thyroid and the adrenals. The phenol derivatives, by the action of aspirin, interfere with the proper function of the liver and damage the liver cells.

What is the better answer?

Did you ever think of taking responsibility for your own health? By studying simple immune system actions, and taking certain readings at home, you can evaluate the immune system and endocrine glands which need help the most. This would even be an aid to your health care professional.

The tests you can take at home include the Temperature, Pulse, Saliva pH, Urine pH, and the Blood Pressure. These tests, when gone through one time, become a simple procedure you wish you learned all the time. We know that the temperature, pulse, and the blood pressure are accepted standard procedures already used worldwide. pH is the measure of acidity or alkalinity present. This is taken by the use of pH paper strips you tear off from a tape dispenser. Then you wet one piece on the tongue (saliva) and compare the color change with the chart on the tape dispenser. The same for the urine pH. The saliva pH test closely resembles the liver activity and the urine pH tells you about what the body dosen't want inside.

When all 5 of these tests are analyzed, you can have an idea of what your body needs and doesn't need. Now you can formulate your own health program and know what foods or supplements to include in your daily routine. You also know what NOT to include in your daily regimen. After all, we are physically what we eat, mentally what we think, and spiritually what we believe. If we eat the wrong foods, our bodies try to eliminate them. If we are doing something correctly, the tests above show the difference.

Our book, "Starting and Testing the Healing Process" was designed for the individual to take responsibility for there own health. By learning basic facts of the immune system and applying simple tests, guessing is turned into solid guidelines! The rest of the facts are covered and can be viewed by clicking HERE. This is the result of over 35 years of research. An ounce of prevention is worth the effort before a problem arises later.

We also have a computer program available on a CD-ROM, where you enter the readings, and get an instant evaluation of what changes are needed in your daily regimen.
